About TrifectaWord
A small, independently made word game built around one idea: a fresh daily puzzle worth coming back for.
Why TrifectaWord exists
TrifectaWord started as a simple game made to be enjoyed by small group of friends, but it quickly grew into a daily puzzle that people around the world could play together. I want to continue making handcraft daily puzzles that are fun and challenging. and to I hope to make a small routine that people can look forward to, and play together with their friends and family.
The name comes from the puzzle's structure: three columns that each hide a word, which combine to reveal the final puzzle word. Solve all three — the "trifecta" — and you've solved the day. There are also daily and monthly global scoreboards where the top 3 players get special rewards and special badges on their profile, and a few other small ways to show off your skills.
Who's behind it
TrifectaWord is built and run by Nikola Hristovski, an independent software developer based in North Macedonia.
How the daily puzzle works
Every player around the world gets the exact same puzzle on a given day, so scores are genuinely comparable — no per-player randomization, no regional variants. A new puzzle goes live at midnight UTC, and once the day rolls over, the scoreboards resets and new challenge begins. The previous day's top 3 players are posted on the Instagram page @trifectaword. Give us a like if you found your nickname there!
Puzzles are handcrafted, aiming for words that are challenging without leaning on obscure trivia. If a puzzle ever feels off, the fastest way to tell me is through the contact page — I read every message myself.
How it's funded
TrifectaWord is free to play. It is supported by optional rewarded video ads (you choose to watch one in exchange for a small in-game benefit). Full details on both are in the Terms of Service, and what data is collected along the way is covered in the Privacy Policy.
