TrifectaWord is a free daily word puzzle. Each round gives you three columns of clues, and each column hides a single answer word. Work out all three, and those three answers become the clues to one final word that connects them all — a word wearing three different meanings at once. Find it and the round is over.

A new puzzle goes live every day at midnight UTC, and every player in the world gets the same one, so scores are directly comparable. You have ten minutes. Solving a column from its first clue alone is worth far more than grinding it out letter by letter, and finishing with time on the clock pays a bonus on top, so the game is as much about when you commit to a guess as what you guess.

How a round works

• Each column starts with only its first clue word showing.
• Guess the column's answer. A wrong guess costs 5 points and reveals a little more of the column.
• Solve all three columns, then name the word that connects the three answers.
• Hints are available at any time, paid for out of your current score.
• Scores are calculated on the server, so a closed tab or a lost connection never costs you a round.

Daily and monthly global scoreboards, private scoreboards you can share with friends, team play, a pool of bonus puzzles once the daily one is done, and unlockable profile icons, nickname borders and keyboard themes. Playing on consecutive days builds a streak.
